Thursday, February 24, 2005 - 07:41 PM, (3268 Reads)

Security
The Government has launched ITsafe a new initiative to protect home and micro business computer users from online threats (viruses, spyware etc). Essentially, the service comprises a filtering of the vast amount of security related information out there. The intention of ITsafe is to provide an email alert service for the more serious vulnerabilites or the ones likely to affect a large proportion of users. ITsafe, which is funded by the Home Office, can be found at www.itsafe.gov.uk
