MEDIA TRAINIMG
I run media training for various NGOs and have been asked to extend the work into New Media. Most of my work currently focuses on traditional stuff - Broadcast and Press media. I also explain internet and websites.
But New Media is much bigger than this - pod casting, SKYPE, video streaming new messaging technologies etc.
I would like to ask NNMF members' opinion on the following:
What would you include as 'new media' facilities?
How effective is new media at getting the message across?
Who are the target audience that use new media?
Finally, if you were a Non governmental organisation or environment organisation, what advantages would you see in using new media?
Which media outlet would be most effective?
Even this forum is 'new media' so let's see if it works!
