Those of you who buy/subscribe to Internet Works magazine will not be able to find it next month.

The magazine, which I think is the best one on the market for those of us who make a living from the Internet, has just sent out it's last issue with a surprise message to say that it's closing.

Our subscriptions are being transferred to .net magazine unless we want our money back.

Now I have to find something else that covers the broad spectrum of marketing, programming, business issues etc. that were in Internet Works.

What magazines do others recommend, what is your reading list for computer magazines and why?

I've been reading .net magazine for some years now and find that it covers a good range of internet topics. It might be a little too design focussed for your needs, but I'd certainly recommend giving it a try.

Hi MemberServices.

I have bought .net once or twice in the past when there was something good in it, I also read PC Plus.

Internet Works was excellent for content developers etc. I liked it's mixture of business, marketing and technical stuff. I was just sorry that I didn't find it years earlier, not many newsagents stocked it because it was aimed at those people running commercial sites, shops etc. rather than home users.

I am going to choose to continue my subscription with .net magazine instead of Internet Works.

Hi All

Now that is a shame. I have been reading Internet Works since the first copy and found it an invaluable source of information both for our projects and customers. I have read .Net on many occasions but found internet works far superior.

Looks like I’ll be doing some research online in future Sad .
