The Norwegian Government announced their "eNorge 2009 – the digital leap" strategy, yesterday. Norwegian Minister of Modernization, Morten Andreas Meyer, outlines a bold proposal of no proprietary file formats to be used between government and citizens.
They don't seem to be hanging about either, every public body in Norway must have a plan in place to use open source code and open standards by the end of 2006.
